Alaa’s earrings - Watermelon studs in aid of Palestinian mother

Teeny tiny watermelon studs in aid of a mother in Gaza.

These earrings are hand assembled by Niamh in her kitchen in Cobh. They’re made of polymer clay and resin with stainless steel ear posts. The profits will go to an INCREDIBLE Palestinian mother of two who has been raising her three children in refugee camps alone since her husband was martyred last year. As these studs are so small, please be very gentle with them, particularly when removing them. The rubber stopper will keep them securely on your ear but be gentle when taking them off; remove them before showering, sleeping, swimming etc. 

Just imagine raising your children while grieving your husband in the worst possible conditions. Alaa is a remarkable mother who is doing everything she can to keep her children safe while under siege. 

These tiny watermelon studs earrings are €12 and after materials, platform and payment fees (we don’t pay ourselves but we reinvest 10% off the sale price into buying more materials to make more fundraising pieces) approx €9 goes directly to Alaa. We are fortunate to have contacts in Palestine who can get this money directly to Alaa and her children in cash, which is a blessing.
