This pendant helps fund survival for Alaa, a widowed mother of two in Gaza. Your purchase helps cover food, clean water and medicine.
Each pendant is assembled by hand at my kitchen table in Cork, using the symbolic watermelon slice and a delicate gold-plated brass satellite chain. The chain length is 45.5cm with a 5cm extender.
It comes in a hand-printed tin. No two are the same or perfect.
This is a small batch fundraiser with limited stock.
At least 60% of the cost goes directly to Alaa.
The watermelon has long been a symbol of Palestinian resistance. Its colours match the banned flag, and its presence has stood in when the flag could not. Wearing it is a visible act of solidarity, a quiet refusal to look away.
